Why Foremen Trust Site Agent

Real job-site moments where Site Agent turns a bad day into a non-issue.

The Friday deadline

It's 4:40 on a Friday, bid's due Monday, and the GC just sent revised drawings, 40 sheets of them. Old way: an all-nighter with a scale ruler, praying you don't miss a fixture buried in sheet 27. With Site Agent, upload the set and walk away. Every wall, door, window, and fixture is counted and quantified in the time it takes to grab lunch. You're home for dinner, and the bid still goes out sharp.

The count nobody double-checked

A foreman's worst phone call starts with "the doors that showed up don't fit the openings." Usually you find out on delivery day, and by then it's a change order and a week of delay. Site Agent counts every door and window on every sheet and tells you how confident it is about each one, so the ones worth checking are sitting at the top of a queue instead of hiding in a set you skimmed at 11pm.

The number you need right now

The super needs exact square footage on Room 214 before he'll sign off, and you're the bottleneck while you hunt through the set. Instead you ask for it in plain language and the assistant pulls the number straight from the takeoff, jumps you to the sheet it came from, and shows the polygon it measured. You answer him on the spot, and you can see exactly where the number came from.

Everything Your Team Needs
to Estimate with Confidence

From PDF upload to final proposal, Site Agent handles the entire pre-construction workflow with agentic AI.

AI Element Detection

Finds rooms, walls, doors, windows and fixtures across every sheet of a PDF or scanned drawing set, and scores how sure it is about each one.

Confidence You Can Check

Every detection carries a confidence score, and the review queue puts the least certain first so your attention goes where it is actually needed.

Auto-Measurement

Areas, linear runs, counts, volumes and weights, in imperial or metric. Scale is read off the sheet or set by tracing one known dimension.

Ask The Drawing Set

Ask "how many doors on level 2" in plain language. The assistant can search the takeoff, jump to a sheet, fix a detection and draft a document.

Revision Compare

Put two revisions of the same job side by side and see exactly which quantities moved, what was added, and what disappeared.

Live Cost Estimation

Attach a rate card and every quantity becomes a priced line, with waste factors, a regional multiplier and contingency. Export to Excel.

Meet Site Agent.
Not a Chatbot. An Operator.

Site Agent is a full-fledged autonomous agent that lives inside your takeoff software. It reads your drawings, runs the measurements, and delivers exact quantities, all under your control.

Unlike AI assistants that just answer questions, Site Agent does the work. It orchestrates multiple tools, remembers your conventions, and learns from every project.

  • Autonomous task execution, no step-by-step guidance needed
  • Tool orchestration across detection, measurement, and reporting
  • Memory & learning that improves with every project
  • Human-in-the-loop checkpoints for full control
  • Self-serve skill builder for custom workflows

How Site Agent works

You upload a drawing set. Site Agent reads every sheet, measures what it finds, and hands you quantities you can check, correct and price. You stay the estimator; it does the counting.

The workflow

  1. Drop in the set PDF, PNG, JPEG or TIFF, including multi-page TIFF scans of older jobs. Every sheet is rasterized at full resolution and tiled, so a fixture in the corner of sheet 47 is read as clearly as one on the cover.
  2. It reads the drawings Rooms, walls, doors, windows and fixtures are detected sheet by sheet. The title block is read for the sheet name and its printed scale, and the scale is calibrated so measurements mean something. Every detection carries a confidence score.
  3. You check the work The review queue puts the least certain detections first, so you spend your attention where it is actually needed. Drag a corner to correct anything, click once inside a room to measure it, or add what was missed.
  4. Price it and send it Attach a rate card and every quantity becomes a line item, with waste factors, a regional multiplier and contingency. Export the takeoff or the priced estimate to Excel.

What is in it

Measurement

  • Areas, linear runs and counts
  • Volumes from a slab or excavation depth
  • Weights from a unit weight per foot or square foot
  • Imperial or metric, switchable per project
  • Scale read from the sheet, or set by tracing a known dimension

Checking the numbers

  • A confidence score on every detection
  • Review queue with a threshold you set
  • Full edit tools: move, retrace, reclassify, delete
  • Undo and redo on every change
  • Quantities always derived, never typed over

Pricing

  • Reusable rate cards across jobs
  • Waste factor per line, contingency per project
  • Regional cost multiplier
  • Anything it cannot price is reported, never quietly zeroed

Output and teamwork

  • Excel takeoff and priced estimate with a summary roll-up
  • Compare two revisions and see what moved
  • Share a whole project or a single drawing
  • Viewer and adjuster roles
  • An assistant you can ask about the set in plain language
